Fish shell like syntax highlighting for Zsh.
![]() Otherwise, we can't do `echo hello hello^W^W^Y` and get back `echo hello hello` (we get `echo hello` instead because ZLE doesn't detect two consecutive calls to backward-kill-word). I don't add more to this commit because other `*-kill-*` are less likely to be used twice in a row when working with the shell. But maybe, `kill-line` could be added too. Closes #150. |

Requirements: zsh 4.3.17+.
How to install
Using packages
- Arch Linux: community/zsh-syntax-highlighting / AUR/zsh-syntax-highlighting-git
- Gentoo: mv overlay
In your ~/.zshrc

Download the script or clone this repository:
git clone git://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-syntax-highlighting.git

Source the script at the end of
~/.zshrc
:source /path/to/zsh-syntax-highlighting/zsh-syntax-highlighting.zsh

to take changes into account:source ~/.zshrc
With oh-my-zsh

Download the script or clone this repository in oh-my-zsh plugins directory:
